1. What is the minimum age to apply for this job? Age Limit is same for both RRB ALP and Technician Posts which are 18-31 years as per 01.07.2019. However, there is some relaxation for some categories as per the notification norms.
2. What are the total number of vacancies in RRB CEN No 02/2019? There is a total of 103769 vacancies for the posts of RRB Groub D (RRC).
3. What are the essential educational qualifications needed to apply for this job? Candidates should be 10th Pass or ITI from Institution recognized by NCVT / SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. OR Candidates should be 10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th Pass plus ITI from Institution recognized by NCVT / SCVT.
1. I want to fill the application form, what are the essential requirements for online registration? Candidates should have an active mobile number as well as a valid email id. He/she keep his id and mobile number active in the complete recruitment process.
2. I don't know the procedure for the registration! You have to enter all the essential details in the column provided. After filling all the details, an OTP will be sent to the Mobile number and email id for the verification. You have to fill the OTP to validate your registration details.
3. After registration, Can I edit the details? Yes, you can edit the details except for your email id, mobile number and State you applied for.
4. How can I login? RRB will send a registration id & password to your registered email id. Use that credentials and log-in.
5. How can I get to know that my application is submitted successfully? Your application will get submitted after you complete all the details. You will also be able to preview & take out a print of your application.
6. I have not received OTP. What should I do? Check if you are entering the correct mobile number & you are connected to the internet. You can use the option of re-send OTP if you have inserted the correct number.
7. I forgot my password, how can I recover it? Your password will be your Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format. For example, if your Date of Birth is 1 September 1992. Your password will be 01091992.
8. Will I be allowed to edit the details after successful registration? Yes, but you will be charged for the same. You have to pay Rs 250 (Non-refundable). You can do it just twice.
9. What are the documents needed at the time of application registration? At the time of registration, you should keep ready the following
  • Scanned passport size photo (20kb-50kb).
  • Scanned Caste certificate (50kb to 100kb). (If applicable)
  • Scanned passport size photo of the scribe (20kb-50kb). (If applicable)

1. How do i download my Call letter/Admi card? For the convenience of the candidates direct link is provided here in this page, Candidates need to login and download the Admit Card 2019.
2. Where to report for any delay in the Admit card 2019? Candidates who did'nt received the admit card need to immediatley contact the HELP DESK.
3. Can the Exam Center be changed after submitting the Online Application Form? No! the allotted time, date and venue details cannot be changed.
1. When will be the exam conducted? Computer Based Test (CBT): Tentatively scheduled during September and October, 2019.
2. What is the Selection Process of RRB Group D? Stages of Exam: There shall be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates qualified in the CBT shall have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Marks will be normalized in the CBT.
3. Is there any Negative Marking in RRB Group D Exam? There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for wrong answer.
4. What is CBT? CBT stands for Computer Based Test, CBT is the first stage of examination which contain 100 obejctive type questions witha duration of 90 minutes.
5. What is PET? PET stands for Physical Efficiency Tests, Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET Two times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:

  • Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.

  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
  • Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.

  • Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
  • 1. I am not sure if I belong to OBC creamy layer or Non-creamy layer. How can I confirm it? The total income of the family of the OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidate should not be more than 8 Lakhs.
    2. What to do if I lost my SSLC/SSC/Matriculation Certificate? You cannot register without entering SSLC/Matric roll no & passing year. If you get selected for DV round, you have to show the original/Duplicate certificate to the board.
