Introduction
TOEFL test takers can reschedule TOEFL registration or cancel the TOEFL General Test registration no later than four days before the test date else the test fee will be forfeited. For example, if your test is on Saturday, you must reschedule or cancel by Tuesday.
- You can reschedule TOEFL or cancel TOEFL online or through the phone.
- Mail/Email requests are not accepted.
Reschedule
- Login to your TOEFL iBT/ETS account
- View Order on your account home page
- Click “Modify” for rescheduling and “Cancel” for cancellation of the test.
- Keep your registration number convenient.
- Students from US and Canada can call at 1-443-751-4862 or 1-800-468-6335.
- Indian students can call at 91-124-4147700.
Note: You need to use the same name i.e. the full name as used during TOEFL test registration.
Via the TOEFL® official app:
- Log in to your account and on your Home page
- tap the menu next to the appropriate test date
- then tap "Reschedule Appointment." Tap "Continue."
ETS charges for rescheduling TOEFL and refunds you for cancellation of the test schedule.
Charge: You need to pay $60 in addition to your registration charges for rescheduling the TOEFL test.
Refund: There is a refund policy related to the cancellation of TOEFL test.
- On the off chance that you cancle your registration before the 4-day deadline, you will be refunded half of the original test fee you paid. No refunds are given for other services.
- Refunds are given in U.S. dollars and include taxes as applicable. Cash refunds are not available.
- On the off chance that you paid by credit/debit card or e-check, the refund will be credited to the first credit/debit card or bank account you used to pay.
- If you paid by personal individual drawn on a U.S. domestic bank, allow 8 weeks for processing. If payment was made in non-U.S. funds drawn on a bank outside the U.S., allow 12 weeks. If you are taking the test in Korea, see the specific refund policy for test takers in Korea.
- On the off chance that proper registration procedures were not followed.
- On the off chance that the required identification was not presented at the test center.
