Process for rescheduling the test in United States, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Canada

• Test takers can reschedule the test registration online through the ETS account.
• In order to reschedule through phone, test takers need to call Prometric Service at 1- 443 -751 – 4820 or 1 – 800 – 473 – 2255. If rescheduling by phone, be prepared to provide the appointment confirmation number and the full name used to make the appointment.

Process for rescheduling the test in Mainland China

• If taking test in Mainland China, one must reschedule the test registration online through the NEEA account.

Process for rescheduling the test in Hong Kong, Taiwan or Korea

• If taking test in Hong Kong, Taiwan or Korea, one can reschedule the test registration through online or by contacting GRE Services.

Process for rescheduling the test in All Other Locations

• One can reschedule the test registration through online using the ETS Account. To reschedule by phone, contact the appropriate Regional Registration Center (RRC). If rescheduling by phone, be prepared to provide the appointment confirmation number and the full name used to make the appointment.

This list contains the computer-delivered testing centers currently available. If there is no test center in specific country, the computer-delivered test may not be available in that area.

• In case of test cancelation, one need to cancel his/her GRE General Test registration no later than four days prior to the test date (10 days for individuals in Mainland China), test taker will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee. For example, the deadline to cancel a Saturday appointment at a testing location in the United States is Tuesday.
• Testing fees and registrations are not exchangeable between paper-delivered tests and computer-delivered tests.

Process for canceling the test in the United States, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Canada

The policies for rescheduling the paper-deliver test registration are as follows.

• One must change their GRE General Test registration no later than four days before the test date or the test fee will be forfeited. For example: the deadline to reschedule a Saturday appointment at a testing location in the United States is Tuesday.
• The fee to reschedule the test registration is US$50.
• Rescheduling is permitted in the same testing year (July 1–June 30).
• If test taker do not reschedule his/her test registration as indicated above, his/her full test fee will be forfeited.
• Testing fees and registrations are not exchangeable between the GRE General Test and GRE Subject Tests.

One can reschedule the test registration in one of two ways:

• Online through ETS Account
• By calling, faxing or writing GRE Services

If sending the request by mail or fax, be sure to include the name, date of birth, address, registration number, test date, preferred test center and new test date and should also include the US$50 rescheduling fee. Requests sent by mail must be received no later than four full days prior to the scheduled test date. The fee to change the test center is US$50. Test center changes cannot be guaranteed but will be made as space permits. One can also report to the preferred test center on the test day with the confirmation email. If the center can accommodate the test takers and the test he/she need is available, then there would be no additional charge. One can change the test center in one of two ways:

• By calling GRE Services by the regular registration deadline
