In Reconstruction of paragraph, the applicant is provided a paragraph of five or six sentences, which are placed in a jumbled order. The applicant is required to arrange the offered sentences to frame a meaningful paragraph and answer the questions based on the sequence so shaped.

Reconstruction of paragraph questions can be solved very easily, if the applicant's vocabulary is good. So that the applicant can understand the meaning of the provided sentences and can arrange them in right order. Key points to solve reconstruction of paragraphs easily: - Connectors: Connectors are those which connects the two sentences. Connectors are of two types. They are 1. Supporting or positive connector 2. Contradictory or negative connector

By knowing the supporting and contradictory connectors, the arrangement of sentences is easy. Example: John ans Sam goes to market. (Supporting connector) John goes to market but Sam goes to school. (Contradictory connector) Words in the beginning and end: Some words usually gives hint if observed with proper attention, that from which the sentence starts and from which the sentence end.

It is not compulsory, whether the above mentioned words present in each and every jumbled sentences or not. but if present then it is easy to solve the jumbled sentences. Words in pairs:

Tips: -
  • Try to grasp the theme of the paragraph.
  • Abbreviation sentence comes after full form sentence.
  • The sentence with Pronoun comes after the sentence with Noun.
