Paper Cutting

Paper Cutting

shape Description

Paper cutting problems are related to analysis of pattern that is formed when folded piece of paper have been cut in a definite design. A step wise procedure of problems on paper cutting:-
  • An arrangement of three figures demonstrating the way in which a bit of paper has been folded is given.
  • In each of the initial two figures, a spotted line together with an arrow on it is given.
  • The spotted line is the reference line along which the paper must be folded and the arrow demonstrates the direction of the fold.
  • These two figures demonstrate the succession in which the paper is folded.
  • In the third figure there are marks demonstrating the position and the way of the cut made in the folded sheet.
  • Select one of the figures from the arrangement of four option figures which would most nearly look like the standard when the paper is unfolded.
NOTE:- Clearly, the plans of the cut will show up on each of the folds made in the paper.
