TSPSC has invited applications from qualified aspirants for recruitment of 67 Forest Range Officers in 2017. The selection procedure involves: Written Exam (Online/OMR), Walking Test, a Medical Test and an Interview for the recruitment of FRO's. Understanding the FRO Exam Pattern and exam syllabus will help the candidates in devising effective preparation strategies. Speed/Time management is vital in obtaining a good score in any competitive exam and hence, analysis of exam pattern and syllabus is very crucial to be able to complete the exams and preparation in the stipulated time. The FRO written objective exam has 4 papers: General Englsih, General Mathematics, General Studies & an Optional Paper. The FRO exam pattern is as shown in the table below.

Optional Paper(One Only) (Paper - IV) 150 Questions 150 Minutes 300 Marks
✶ Candidates qualified in the written exam will be called for the walking and medical test
Test Physical Endurance Test (Walking test) - - -

✶ Candidates who have qualified in walking test and found fit during the medical test will be called for the interview
